Daily Factoid: Database Training (25-Jan-12)

Considering Database Qualifications :

It’s a good idea if you are just getting into IT to begin your career-path with a course in software-support. Software support will give you some entry level certifications, to help you get your first foot on the ladder, as well as provide you with an understanding of a further worthwhile side of the industry.

An excellent program for the novice is the ‘MCDST’ (‘Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician’). Your whole professional training track of ‘MCDST’, MCTS & ‘MCITP’ may very well be finished in just about one year if you’re studying part time outside of work.

But, as always, we recommend caution prior to making any selections in isolation. Get advice from an industry advisor to feel confident that you are entering the best program for your needs, both in terms of learning-style & choice of career. Begin with the result in mind; an inability to abide by this one simple guideline has cost thousands of students a substantial amount of money & wasted time.
