In Britain’s IT sector alone we now have over 130,000 jobs available nationwide. For every 18 people working in the United Kingdom, 1 works in IT and / or Telecoms. Breaking that down even further, well over half (860k) are actually employed in the IT & Telecommunications sector, and the outstanding 663,000 work in various other sectors. Whilst employees in Britain typically command £450 per week gross, IT and Telecommunications professionals make an average of £670 a week.
