Daily Factoid: Web Design Portfolios (08-Feb-12)

On Web Design :

The most important factor to stress is that the training alone won’t make you a web designer; it will merely coach you on the methods. Build as many web-sites as possible whilst you go through your studies – the practice will be invaluable and you will have a portfolio to show what you can do. A craft or interest can be a very good place to start, or maybe your favourite pet, or a holiday-resort you particularly loved. Start to build interactive web sites and create traffic to them. All this will look more constructive on your CV, & in your Portfolio, than a qualification from Adobe will!
